The Future of Forests
It’s a tough time to be a tree. Earth has lost a third of its forests over the past 10,000 years—half of that just since 1900. This is an interesting article about how forests are and aren't adapting to climate change published in the National Geographic.

We may not notice it, but shipping is responsible for a boat load of the world's emissions, and that's set to increase just as we need to be fighting climate change.
